Plastic Bags

Plastic bags have a really big impact on our environment. The wind picks up the plastic bag and blows it into the clostest ocean, creek, sea or river. This is also water pollution. The plastic bags will eventually go into a place called ''The Great Pacific Garbage Patch.'' The plastic bag breaks into tiny pieces of plastic and floats around in the ocean, until a sea creature eats it. This problem has killed many sea creatures. This happens to a lot of plastic bags that are have been dropped on the ground. If this cycle doesn't happen it goes into a place where they break it down. Plastic bags take around 20 to 1000 years to break down! Imagine how many plastic bags their are in the world! Imagine how many people shop with plastic bags! Why are we doing this, it isn't nature.
